Amicus have entered the commercial mortgage market during March and are sitting nicely with our other challenger bank partners in respect of their rates and fees. Amicus appear to be a lender that will ‘take a view’ on the cases that other lenders may not be able to help with due to their rigid criteria. Amicus can lend up to 80% LTV and their rates start at 5% over 3 month LIBOR. ERCs are as low as 1.5% on a variable term so they’re also very competitive compared to challenger banks who start at 2.5%-3% for 5 years.
Atom bank are still very much a strong competition within the commercial market, with rates a low as 2.5% plus base rate and a 0.75% arrangement with no ERC’s; they are very much a stronger contender against well known high street banks.
