As one of the UK’s leading specialist lenders, Precise Mortgages believes that although your customer’s case might be complex, applying for it shouldn’t be. It’s why they’ve made a host of improvements in 2018 which they hope will make it even easier for you to do business with them.
They’ve streamlined a number of forms, including their Standard Declaration form and portfolio landlord forms, and introduced a Document Certification Form, which only requires one signature to verify all supporting documents, to speed up the application process. Once you’ve submitted the fully packaged deal to them, they will assess the case and, if satisfied, proceed straight to valuation.
In keeping with its reputation as a company that likes to lead the way, Precise Mortgages now accepts identification documents, such as passports and driving licenses, which have been verified using an approved digital identification solution.
They are currently accepting digital ID from the following companies and are planning to add more names to the list in the future: Experian, Equifax, CallCredit, LexisNexis, TrustID, Onfido and GBGroup.
They’ve reduced proof of residency requirements for Residential Mortgages to just 1 year. If they can verify 3 years’ address history online, they no longer need your customer to send in printed documentation for evidence.
The proof of residency improvement article is just one in their series of weekly Thinking Outside the Blog posts which are proving to be very popular with brokers keen to find out how they can get their customers’ cases completed quickly.
They’ve developed a new Residential Mortgages Affordability Calculator which gives you an indication of how much your customer could borrow in just a few seconds without having to complete a Decision in Principle first. Click here to try the calculator.
They’ve improved their Residential Mortgages affordability assessment to match the repayment method selected. So if your customer opts for interest only, their affordability will now be assessed using interest only.
